Bar restaurant

Van Wieringen Ontwerp designed the Fashion Biennale Bar, named after its special bar-front: a lace pattern created out of several type of glasses like cocktail-, wine-, dessert-, and champagne glasses.

The pattern used in the Fashion Biennale Bar originated in one of Laurens earlier designs which was a novelty at the Milan show 2005. With this ‘lace’ pattern and title Laurens surprisingly refers to all aspects a bar includes, both positive as negative without being too cynical.
